e3; Sony+Funimation=WIN!
So e3 is happening right now. This tuesday, Sony in their keynote announced something cool for gamers and anime fans alike. The PSN video store, sony in co-operation with several US-based TV/movie studios, is going to sell and rent videos. The win is, Funimation is one of the studios, Funimation does anime. The store went live tuesday night and is already seeing numerous downloads of everything on the store. I was going to post this last night but somehow my blog disappeared, so today I bring you, a list and prices for each episode of the currently available anime’s. You can buy these online through your PSN account or off your PS3.

Its a pretty nice list to start out with, Funimation have the rights to many other good titles in the US, so I can see this growing and hope they will keep bringing many of their more popular titles to the PSN store. Also note so far I’ve asked 1 person I know in offseas, and he says that the PSN Video Store is region locked [through the PS3], that means that so far only fat-americans can get this, sorry hopefully sony will soon figure out a way to bring this to everyone
