Top 10 Manga Best Sellers

Well I know that we mostly cover anime but we haven’t posted a thing since we’ve been busy with Y2Anime, and I thought that this might be interested to magna lovers out there. Right here in my home town of New York, there’s a large Japanese population. (Flushing, CP, Chinatown(s), & Corona readers – Can I get a w00t w00t?) Here are the New York Times Top 10 Magna Best Sellers for last week with the Animeted twist. (After the jump)

Magna: Dogs: Bullets and Carnage

At position 10, we have Dogs: Bullets and Carnage, a story that has been adapted into an OAV that details the story of Mihai, an ex-assassin who has retired home to Europe. Returning to run a restaurant, he has also returned to settle a vendetta that involves several other mainstream characters with physical attributes that help make up the story as well as the title of the manga.

His character is put to the test in the manga when he meets Ryō Miyakozuka who transfer into the academy.

With a failed attempt, Edward loses his leg and arm while Alphonse loses his entire body and has his spirit transferred into a robot. With this disability, the brotherly duo set out on a quest to return themselves to normal and maybe have a chance on reviving their mother successfully.

Coming to her aide is her friend, Kyo, who reveals the fact  that he is also a goblin that seeks Misao as food.

Alongside is Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend who has extreme dislike over the creatures who destroyed everything that mattered to him. The combo proves successful, but with the developing relationships with each other, how long will the successful combo really last?
