Animeted! Summer Update!

It is the summer, right?

Well, sorry about the relative inactivites… obviously our writers, including myself, have other things to do that come at a higher priority than Animeted.

This doesn’t mean we gave up on it, obviously, we’ve been in this situation a number of times before.

Just for some reassurance, I’ll let you know what I have in store for you!

Ok so I kinda lied, I was gonna blog about ep 23 then I didn’t and I didn’t update you guys about ep 24 and 25 which came out and gave us the climax this past thursday. Truth is i try to blog but I’ve been getting overworked at work, the job is done and now I have some time to rest, but I have also been creating more work for myself at home. For some reason I started to look for more series then I usually do and started to download them, its a drag to keep track of what eps I have and then to watch them, and then to backup other stuff on my hdd to get more anime. Well work should be slow for me now so I should be able to catch up on a lot of blog work and some anime watching, and most important of all my car, it needs work and if I let it breakdown then I have no way to go to work and then no money and then no internet or anime. I just bought Death Note Manga box-set, its epic. Also bought Love Hina Slim-case Collection that I found by chance. Well I hope you enjoy the screenie from ep 25 and wait for my blogs, I think I’m just gonna do a big review and explain somethings and give out some soundtrack downloads and expect a lot of screenies [that is if I don't get lazy]

ZOMG Screenies and like 2 comments might spoil the Anime experience.

Ok so I didn’t blog about ep 22 last week, I didn’t have much time. I’ll say this much about ep 22 it was dull. Tomorrow I plan on following up on that together with ep 23 [edit: just ep 23, ep 22 was kinda lame, and I already fell behind and don't want a lot of work] which I just watched in raw. Its freaking electric, well the whole episode is good, again, not japanese so I didn’t get to understand it all, but the ending is just delicious. Like a fresh orange pie

Ep 22, pretty lame, Taiga doesn’t appear ’till like the end, and not much progress between Ryūji and Minorin, to me this is the lamest ep. The series has come so far with so many developments, and so much drama, and this ep is kinda gay, no drama or much development, other then Ryūji wanting to keep Taiga from knowing he was the one who rescued her, and that she let him know of her feelings for him.

Ep 23 is awesome, waiting for a group to sub it, CoalGuys usually comes through.

I wanna just learn Japanese ASAP. Ok so maybe I might, I’m barely 20 going on 21 in two months, however I’m not going to school so I have to really assess my situation and decide, if Toradora! is really a reason to just learn japanese.

This Entry Will Spoil the Anime Experience!

Toradora! 21 is out in raw. Just got home from work, just watched it, its an awesome ep. Couldn’t understand too much of it but I got the general idea on what’s going on so far, its great.

Ok so last week the trip to Okinawa got canceled and so they went to the mountains. I wish I had these kinds of field trips when I was in school.

So Ryūji can’t ski, no surprise there, I don’t know either, I’ve never seen snow or even been to a big mountain. Taiga didn’t even bother with skis, she got herself a nice little red toboggan, she’s so cute holding it.

A random fight starts during the day, it seems they’re fighting over who’s in who’s group, I couldn’t understand much. During dinner Ryūji finds some time for himself, to reminisce on his situation, what will say to Minorin? Well she appears in front of him, he gets nervous, it appears she’s going to bring them up, but she says something else that puts Ryūji at ease. She brings out the gift Ryūji had ready for her the night he was gonna confess, she tells him that Taiga gave it to her and told her to cherish it.

Ryūji again leaves to reminisce in the guys dorm room under his futon. Yūsaku, Noto and Haruta come in and threaten to do some things to him to get him to get up, he gets up and tells them about his crush on Minorin.

Somehow they decide to help Ryūji, I don’t know for sure, but then they all head out to the girls room, which doesn’t make sense to me, how are they gonna help. Ryūji reveals his true intentions, his eyes seem to glow at the sight of girls clothing… he must love loli’s more then me. Taiga comes in and they have to hide from her.

Taiga is about to discover them when she’s taken hostage, lol well more the rest of the girls came in. The situation got juicy when they started talking about their crushes (at least I think). Ami who has the devil’s insight on the situation between Ryūji, Minori, Taiga and herself, brings this up and the conversation takes a turn when her and Minori fight about it. When they leave Ryūji and the rest just flop out of the closet, dumbfounded at what happened they seem to just go sleep on it.

The next day, Ryūji finds Ami and starts a conversation. Taiga and Minorin crash into Ami, who takes this a deliberate attack on her by Minorin, a fight starts, its soon broken up, but not before Taiga disappears chasing Ryūji’s gift for Minori.

So Minorin decides to go out and look for Taiga, apparently she didn’t get back to the cabin, Ryūji and Yūsaku go with her, they find some clues as to her whereabouts. Ryūji goes alone and finds the hair clip, he also remembers Taiga at her best before finding her. Taiga lets Ryūji know of her feelings for him, thinking she’s on Yūsaku’s back.

This episode is juicier then the last one, I just love this series, the uncertainty of who will end up with whom. I can’t wait to watch this subbed, so I can know what they say verbatim. I’m so now looking forward to friday, its when CoalGuys usually release the subs for this.

This Post/Blog Might Spoil the Anime Experience!

Okay so last week Toradora! 19 was released in raw and then subbed two days later, Its the episode that made me wanna cry, its getting pretty serious. What first drew me to it was after watching the first 5 episode, then end is not as certain as with many romantic anime’s, there’s a bit of uncertainty with who will the protagonist end up with . Anyways here are some screens and the links to ep 19 subbed by CoalGuys. If you’re like me you can’t wait for a fansub and watch the RAW, it aired today, I’m downloading as I’m writing.

Ok so I have been way MIA but I made a promise to try to write, and I will keep it, and it will try my best to keep up, I’m having more free time again like I used to and can start writing again but I don’t take the initiative, I just take naps and forget

I haven’t really been watching too much anime, I just got my internet back a few weeks ago too, so even if i wanted to watch I couldn’t look for and download it. Just this weekend I was searching and found one with an interesting name : Toradora!

Heres the excerpt from Wikipedia, I think it’ll explain much better then me:

“Toradora!’s story begins with the male protagonist Ryūji Takasu who is frustrated at trying to look his best as he enters his second year of high school. Despite his gentle personality, his eyes make him look like an intimidating delinquent, so he is utterly hopeless about his chances of getting a girlfriend anytime soon, and does not have many close friends either. After being greeted by hishungover mother in the morning, Ryūji goes to school and is happy to find that he gets to be in the same class with his best friend Yūsaku Kitamura and a girl he has a crush on, Minori Kushieda. However, it is then that he unexpectedly knocks into “the school’s most dangerous animal of the highest risk level”—Taiga Aisaka—who just happens to also be in his class, and is a good friend of Minori.

Taiga has a negative attitude towards others and will not hesitate to snap at people. After meeting Ryūji, she takes an instant dislike of him. Taiga comes from a rich family, but she has moved out to live on her own due to family issues. She is coincidentally living in an apartment next to Ryūji’s. When Ryūji discovers that Taiga has a crush on Yūsaku, and Taiga finds out about Ryūji’s affections towards Minori, Ryūji suggests that they cooperate to win the objects of their affections. Taiga exploits the fact that Ryūji will do anything to get closer to Minori. She makes him her personal servant, getting him to do all her household chores (cooking and cleaning). Taiga spends a lot of her time over at his house, so much that she could almost be considered a member of his family. Since Ryūji spends a lot of time with Taiga, he has opened up to her world and to a side of her that most people do not see. The two also try to help each other improve the way people view them. However people they know from school start to become curious about their strange relationship and rumors begin to spread about them behind their backs.”

So far I’ve watched up to ep 18, the latest ep out . It shares many themes with most seinen anime, although its categorized under shōnen. Its very different, its good I recommend its different in many ways. AniYoshi has subbed up to ep 14, they are still subbing it but they aren’t quite there yet, if you want to watch up to the latest ep 18 you can get the rest from CoalGuys.
